Visa is not required for Dutch passport holders to visit Hong Kong and stay there for up to 3 months. However, if the purpose is for study, internship or work, visa is required under any circumstances. For other passport holders, please click here or contact Hong Kong Immigration Department (website: www.immd.gov.hk).
If a visa is required, you can either chose to apply directly to Hong Kong Immigration Department or apply through the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in The Hague. You need to come in person with your valid passport (travel document) and one passport photo.

The visa process normally takes four working days. However, if the visa application needs to be referred back to Hong Kong Immigration Department, it will take two weeks to two months. If the application is turned down, there will be no refund.
