The fourth China International Piano Competition will be held from October 15th to 25th, 2007 in Xiamen, China. The competition is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, undertaken by the Xiamen Municipal Government and conducted by the Competition Organizing Committee. The jury panel is composed of eminent musicians with high international status such as Madame Bao Huiqiao (vice-president of Chinese Musicians Association), Prof. Andrea Bonatta (Italy), Prof. Guillermo Gonzalez (Spain), Prof. Andrzej Jasinski (Poland), Prof. Vladimir Krainev (Ukraine), Prof. Warren Thomson (Australia), Prof. Einar Steen Nokleberg (Norway), and so on. The prizes for the winners will range from US$30,000 to US$2,000. The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities between the age of 17to 32(born between October 15,1975 and October15, 1990).
