The Fourth China International Vocal Competition (CITC) will be held in Ningbo from 9 to 21, October, 2008. As one of the major China International Music Competition events, it is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and sponsored by Ningbo Municipal Government, Zhejiang Province.

The Competition is held every three years, and it includes competitions for singers, pianists and violinists. The Organizing Committee is responsible for the management of all competition procedures, and the jury panel of CITC is composed of world-famous musicians. Winners of the Competition will be issued certificates and awarded cups and bonuses.

Singers of all nations, male and female, aged from 18 to 33 (born before the 8th of October 1990 and after 9th of October 1975) are eligible to apply.
